I had a lovely two-day stay at this beautiful resort surrounded by towering Ponderosa Pines. The views of the expansive green valley were breathtaking, and the pool area was fantastic. While the food was generally great, it was quite expensive. The convention meals, however, were impressively good. My room was above average and had everything necessary, but the lack of nearby amenities meant I had to rely on the resort’s offerings. Overall, it’s a spectacular property, though a bit pricey for what you get.

The Resort at Squaw Creek offers a beautiful setting with stunning mountain views, making it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. However, the service has some inconsistencies, impacting the overall experience. While I had a great time with the scenic beauty, the housekeeping and Wi-Fi issues were disappointing.

The room I stayed in was cozy and had a wall of windows that provided a beautiful view of the valley, making it a nice retreat after a day out. However, the cleanliness could have been better.

The front desk service was a hit-or-miss. While some staff, like Kristen, were fantastic and accommodating, others seemed indifferent to my concerns.

The location is absolutely breathtaking, especially with easy access to the slopes and nearby outdoor activities, making it a great vacation spot.
Dining

Dining options were limited and somewhat overpriced, which took away from the overall experience. The quality was hit-or-miss, with just a few standout dishes.

My stay at the Resort at Squaw had its highs and lows. The beautiful setting and convenient chair lift were definite perks, but the dining experience and service left much to be desired. While the room was clean and had lovely forest views, inconsistencies in service and the quality of food were major drawbacks.
Rooms
8.0
The rooms were clean with lovely views of the forest, and the amenities were adequate, though a microwave in the room would have made things easier.
Service
6.0
The service was hit-or-miss; while some staff were friendly and accommodating, inconsistencies, especially in the spa, created frustrations.
Location
9.0
The location is beautiful, surrounded by nature and close to the mountain village with easy access to the chair lift.
Dining
5.0
Dining was disappointing overall; the quality of food was subpar and not worth the prices charged, which was frustrating.

The facilities could use some improvement, especially the spa, which lacked consistent service and amenities.

My stay at the resort was overall pleasant with some standout experiences but a couple of drawbacks. The hotel is situated in a lovely location with breathtaking views, perfect for various types of getaways, from family trips to romantic escapes. The dining options can be hit or miss, especially with some overpriced offerings, yet the main restaurant provided a delicious experience. One downside is the need to walk outside to access some facilities, which can be uncomfortable in colder weather.
Rooms
8.0
The rooms were nice, spacious, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
Service
6.0
The staff experience was mixed; while some were helpful, there were instances of apathy that detracted from the overall experience.
Location
9.0
The location is stunning and peaceful, with amazing views that add to the overall charm of the resort.
Dining

Dining was a mixed bag; while I had an exquisite meal at the steakhouse, other dining options fell short with mediocre quality and high prices.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were good, although needing to walk outside to access the gym and spa was inconvenient, especially during colder weather.
